    Lighting Elysium would love to have a perfect world. If every client would have us perform a site surveys and mass re-lamping on pre-determined schedules we could save our clients energy, money and down-time. Unfortunately, since there is a certain level of start-up costs, planning and scheduling logistics to make this a reality, sometimes it just doesn’t happen. The commitment from the client involves budgeting for re-lamping and scheduling with the local manager to be sure that it will happen. There is also a level of trust in the mathematics that mass-re-lamping saves enough to account for the incorporation into the budget. For many clients, following the “reactive approach” is easier. We’ve determined that every company likes the idea of following a long-term, cost effective and energy-efficient plan, but implementation involves a shifting of habits that is similar to keeping on a diet. To cure this, Lighting Elysium has collected the information required to not only implement the plan but to maintain it over time. We’ve found that once everyone gets used to the new habits, it becomes easy and the trickle-down effects have people bring these habits home.
Warehouse: A 500,000 square foot warehouse and distribution center. Project realized over $150,000 in tax and state incentives. Energy Savings exceeded $64,000 per year.
Hospitality: A restaurant chain switched from incandescent to LED. Over 69% reduction in energy for lighting, $0.60 per sq ft in tax deductions without compromising lighting quality or output.
Retail: Performed a complete energy audit of four locations providing insight into areas of energy waste. Conclusion: Lighting would provide the biggest savings followed by HVAC upgrades.
