Lighting is one of the most important elements in a store. The design and layout of the store becomes meaningless if they don’t perform as intended. This can happen for many reasons: normal life-span, dust and dirt, accidental impact and often just improper maintenance. All too often, a light goes out and a staff person goes to buy a replacement that may look right in the box, but the subtle color difference goes unnoticed. The lamp is installed anyway and before too long, the entire store is a mixed-bag of lamp colors, beam spreads and wattages. The once high-end store has been reduced to mediocrity. By contracting Lighting Elysium to perform your lighting and electrical maintenance, the design integrity of the store remains intact. We can create a re-lamping guide for each store to be sure that the correct lamps, ballasts, transformers and fixtures are used, year after year. We can offer an annual mass re-lamping based on fixture lamp-life to reduce the need for reactive maintenance (calling when something goes out). Since light-bulbs degrade over time, the replacement of one or two lamps in a field of hundreds of older lamps can stand out in the crowd. Our design staff specifies the best and most cost-effective choices to achieve a great look for the store. Lighting Elysium has developed a particular set of criteria to create the optimal balance in any lighting project. There are five components required to achieve this which we call: Lighting Design Equilibrium™ Performance Aesthetics Cost Maintenance Energy All of these components are carefully examined on every project to create a seamless integration into the overall look desired. |
